Canaan Solicitors (formerly known as Adegbite-Stevens & Co.), is one of Nigeria’s dynamic legal firms established in 1994 by a crop of young, experienced and enterprising professionals. The corporate ideal of the firm is to provide prompt, efficient and qualitative legal services to our clients in line with modern trends. The firm is principally commercial oriented, but it is also involved in other spheres of legal practice ranging from family law, property law, criminal and civil matters, investment law and litigation. The strength of the firm lies in its profound understanding of the regulatory regimes of the Nigerian business and investment climate. In the more than ten years of its existence, the firm has provided guidance to a myriad of private and public institutions and investors, foreign and local in various economic endeavours on matters ranging from corporate finance, litigation, insolvency, real estate, immigration, tax advisory service, etc.
